Admissions

Student Admission Policy
Amery Hill School is popular and we work to accommodate any child and parent who are keen to join our school.  We work alongside the Hampshire Admissions Team to provide a fair system for admitting students to our successful school.

Amery Hill School 's Catchment Area
If you live within the western half of Alton, Beech, Bentworth, Chawton, Farringdon, Herriard and Medstead you are in the school's catchment area. You can still apply to attend Amery Hill School if you are outside the catchment area.

Student Records
When your child joins the school you will be asked to complete the Admission Form. This will give us the information we need to be able to cater for your child's needs. Please complete the form accurately and inform us of any changes as soon as possible.

If your child joins Amery Hill School from one of the feeder schools their primary school's records will also be automatically transferred to us. Additional information about students will be kept for example school reports or medical records. All records are kept strictly confidential. If you wish to inspect your child's school records please make the request in writing to Mr J. Jeckells, Headteacher:
