Future Foundations - Safeguarding and Code of Conduct
Future Foundations follows strict safeguarding policies and will be asking all students to complete the following code of conduct.
If you would like further information on our policies, please click on the link below to visit Future Foundations website.
Participant code of conduct
The safety of our participants on our programmes is our main priority. We aim to create an inclusive, safe and enjoyable experience for young people participating in the programme online.
We require all participants to agree to a Code of Conduct. This will be sent out after the young person has registered and will need to be signed before the programme starts,
Part of the Code of Conduct sets expectations that participants never share the details of the programme links with anyone else.
We set the privacy settings of the Zoom rooms to only admit people who have been registered for the event, including a waiting room to manage who enters. With the Host having the ability to remove those without authorisation to access the room.
We will not be sharing the invitation details to the programme publicly via social media or our website to ensure that unauthorised people do not have access.
We will talk to young people at the start of the programme about staying safe online, and create a group agreement on behaviour on the programme.
Our facilitators are always present in the main Zoom room and our Safeguarding team will be available throughout the programme.
We will use the security settings for the platform in line with best practice for safeguarding and wellbeing.
