IMG 0227newsheaderIn such turbulent and unprecedented times the 2020 GCSE results for students at Amery Hill School are being celebrated as the culmination of many years of resilience, tenacity and unwavering determination.

The disappointment felt by many at not being able to end their school days by way of formal examinations, leavers’ church service and summer prom, should not deflect from the many experiences and successes that students have achieved while studying at Amery Hill.

Talking about the results, Amery Hill School Headteacher, Mr Stephen Mann, commented “As a school, the care and understanding we have for each one of our students has ensured that the Centre Assessment Grades calculated are an honest and detailed appraisal of what each student should have achieved if they had taken their formal examinations.

It is therefore with great pride that all the staff and Governors wish to congratulate all our students on their results.  We wish them all every success for the future and look forward to a time where we can celebrate together as a community.”
