Our recent summer music concert was a resounding success, bringing together students, staff, and families for a brilliant evening celebrating our young musicians' incredible talent. Despite the summer heat, the atmosphere was electric as our ensembles showcased the impressive fruits of their hard work this term.

The Jazz Band got the evening off to a lively start, delivering brilliant renditions of The Girl from Ipanema, Applause, and All About That Bass, which had the audience eagerly singing and clapping along. Taking listeners on a cinematic and high speed journey, the Concert Band thrilled the room with iconic arrangements including the themes from Back to the Future and Formula 1.

Our Show Choir captivated the room with vibrant performances of Oh Happy Day from Sister Act and It’s a Hard Knock Life from Annie, alongside beloved audience favourites from Paddington and Six.

To top off a truly wonderful evening, attendees were treated to showcase performances from the hugely talented winners and runners up of this year’s Musician of the Year competition, highlighting the extraordinary depth of musical skill within our school community.
